CarBravo spooky review social
CarBravo sells used vehicles that are definitely not scary.
But to celebrate spooky season, we enlisted the help of Mr. Bones — our favorite ghoulish decoration — to help us review one of CarBravo’s first-class secondhand vehicles.
Because the CarBravo brand is all about joy, we wanted this piece to really knock ‘em dead with charm and humor. I worked together with two copywriters and an art director to craft two different versions: a TikTok reel and an Instagram carousel. Both are purposefully punny and deathly unserious, but take advantage of the unique strengths of each platform.
We shot this with my kids’ skeleton, in our driveway, and with our copywriter’s orange Subaru (how seasonally appropriate). That’s also me doing the voiceover through a TikTok filter. And, to extend the fun after Halloween, I threw Mr. Bones back in my car and jumped on the “Me on 10/31, Me on 11/1” trend.
Sadly, Mr. Bones was stolen from my front lawn shortly after this content was created. RIP buddy.
