For me, advertising was an accident.

True story.

I was supposed to be an English teacher.

So what happened?

As a college senior, I stumbled into an internship as a copywriter at a digital agency in the suburbs of Detroit.

Then my entire life changed.

I discovered a passion — and talent — for copywriting. And they PAID me to do it. Somehow, they still do. Just wild.

Over the course of this unlikely career, I’ve honed my skills in virtually every medium, writing copy and leading creative teams in social, digital, CRM, and television. And, I’ve done so on iconic brands like Chevy, Cadillac, Audi, and Jeep.

Happy accident, right? 

When I’m not at work, I can be found recharging my creative batteries behind a drum kit or guitar, shaking up the perfect Mai Tai, or doing nerdy things like watching Back To The Future for the 181st time.
